I think the friend would have just tried to resell her own ticket, but OP likely insisted on having it so she could try to find someone she wanted to go with.[/quote] Yes, it is hard to sell tickets last minute. We have had last minute cancellations to NFL gmaes, big ticket concerts, Broadway shows, etc. and never on the day of does anyone buy the ticket on line. We always end up eating the cost. Sometimes for NFL you can sell it in the parking lot, but even then, not always. [/quote]
