I suspect this is also a ploy to drive out early-mid-career officers who are more likely to be more politically moderate (not that it should or does matter AT ALL in the military but it seems to do so in MAGAland) from the military's ranks. They are the ones most likely to pursue and benefit from (and be retained by) these programs. Now they'll head for corporate life and get an MBA covered by Goldman or whatever.[/quote]

This is just Harvard and the administration playing stupid games. The egos involved are ridiculous. And both Harvard and Trump are willing to throw everyone else under the bus. So far, this "high risk universities" nonsense remains just a threat. Nothing has changed for military officers at this moment in time. But don't think for a minute that Harvard is some bastion of noble principals. They just happen to be rich and prominent enough to match Trump in their destructive awfulness. [/quote]
