So you’re saying if daycare WOULD let him attend you would send him to daycare, despite having the sniffles, because you can’t (or don’t want to) miss another day of work…

My kids teachers take off regularly as they should.  Stop making excuses for being selfish.  I have a serious health issue as do some if your students and their parents.  A simple cold takes me 6 weeks to get over with 1-2 rounds of antibiotics and steroids on top of nebulizer treatments 3-4 times a day.  It’s miserable.  And, if I’m not so lucky I’m hospitalized.  And, when I get hospitalized my spouse can only work limited hours and they get no pto so we go without income.  You have no idea how bad your sniffles impacts others.  It suck’s as I can no longer go out shopping, to eat, travel or to my kids events as I have to avoid people like you.  [/quote]
