Apparently a rental property he and his ex wife had leased (and bis ex wife lived in, maybe maybe not him), had a hot tub that the owner indicated appeared to have damage from acid. This was from an email obtained by the Post. The Bannons lost their security deposit and had to pay extra because of the damage.

In addition, there was other weird stuff like padlocks on inside doors while other doors were removed. I wish this was some sort of conspiracy BS, but it was discovered by the Washington Post who was investigating his residency claims.

Literally sounds like some serial killer craziness, similar to the Gligo beach guy.

This is the original local article in the Miami New Times where the acid bath story comes from.  I hope the reporter, Jessica Lipscomb is alive and doing well.  I can't believe it's still available. I wonder if the ex-wife who seems to have had a bad drug problem is still alive.  I think she served some jail time for drugs.

Most noteworthy to me, besides his ex wife being nuts, is that Bannon never lived there but used the address to register to vote. Goes along with the every accusation is a confession theme. Can't some democratic organization raise funds to prosecute him for voter fraud?? [/quote]
