This is silly. It's Florida...hot as hell... Jacuzzis are filled with chlorine and hard chemicals. If you ignore your Jacuzzi, all the water will evaporate and the remaining chemicals will ruin the liner. Who knows how bad it really was or if the landlord just wanted to screw the tenant out of thousands for a new liner if not an entirely new Jacuzzi, which can cost $10k+.[/quote]

There's a big difference between using chlorine and other ordinary hot tub chemicals - or filling it with "acid." Wonder if anyone has asked the former landlord to clarify that what he/she meant by that accusation. Hope the former landlord is still alive and doing well.[/quote]
