DD doesn't want to carry her heavy winter parka all around the school when she already has her heavy backpack, instrument case and has to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs in between every class. It's the reverse when they put in A/C: classrooms are freezing and it's hot outside. She does bring a cardigan for those days. I don't know why schools are so incompetent regarding HVAC systems.
