Which one is better for a sporty kid? Not a sports bro but a good athlete?
Friends has a no-cut policy for sports teams. Grace does cut but will try and find some way for an interested kid to participate.
This is what I have heard. I know some kids at Grace and I think the issue is they have some sports where tons of kids tryout (girls volleyball) and some where they are looking for warm bodies. There's only so many kids you can have on a volleyball team so they have no choice but to cut. I'm not sure what a better solution is - having 50 girls on the volleyball team doesn't work, and they're not going to hire several more coaches and form a few more teams. I think some sports are also more competitive than others, which impacts that. This is true at most schools.
