There is definitely no dating going on.  My daughter has packs of girlfriends and is always meeting more but it's rare that she even has an opportunity to talk to a guy. The average-to-good looking guys have their pick of any girl they want.

It's kind of an issue but there's not anything to do and culturally they're all in it together. The girls just keep investing in female friendship.

DP.  My daughter is having a similar experience as the PP.  There are plenty of guys, but everyone just hangs out in coed friend groups.  No one seems interested in actually dating.  My daughter, for one, isn't at all interested in having a boyfriend at this time in her life.  Very different from my days in college when I had two serious boyfriends.  I guess it's just this generation... I'd love to see her dating but maybe that will come later, when she's working.[/quote]
