Thanks for sharing your opinion. DD has recently asked for full privacy even from me now. It reminded me of this incident at my friend's house and I started wondering whether the situation was actually appropriate or not. That's why I made this post.

What are you misunderstanding? OP allowed her child (clothed) to be hosed off next to a naked non-family member.

OP states before this incident her child was conscious of wanting privacy and has now progressed to wanting even privacy from her mother after this incident. That's serious.[/quote]

I'm sure DD would have asked for privacy from me anyways whether this incident happened or not. She already didn't allow anyone to see her naked other than me, and it was only a matter of time that she would stop allowing me as well.[/quote]
