As a general comment oh my gosh I really detest the 11:25 start time in ES when there’s a delay.  It’s so late.  I have a kid who is up at 5am daily.  I love the idea of a short day but it’s all the wrong hours. [/quote]

MCPS school timings are messed up. Elementary kids go to school too late in the day and High School starts way too early [/quote]

I would love this and know of other districts that do this but it will never happen here.  Collectively MCPS is too entrenched in the status quo and every time this comes up there are XYZ reasons about why it isn't feasible.[/quote]
