I told her to go to one of the heat treatment places (walk in with lice, walk out with no lice), and we'd pay the bill.  It was $400 2.5 years ago in a major city (like Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston).  And worth every penny

Agree.  So much lice at summer camp.  Anyone sending their kid to summer camp, please, p,ease check their head (and treat them, and tell camp), before they arrive.  And check them as soon as camp is done- preferably before they even go into the house! [/quote]
