The SAT average at JR is 1083, and everyone knows the top kids there have high scores and attend great colleges. MacArthur is the same. [/quote] JR is losing families with high performing kids too. We were really happy at our DCPS for elementary school but left for middle and feel a lot of relief. [/quote] I'm glad you made the choice that was right for your family, but I don't understand the need to come back and bash those who have made different choices. Should you be posting in your new school's board. Also, you'll never know what middle school and high school would have looked like in DC schools. All you know is that you have less anxiety now. Which is great, but not a good measure of how the school system would have or would not have served your children if you had stayed.[/quote]
