I don't know what it means to be "very Virginian" however. Is she not from Virginia? Because, what a peculiar thought process to prejudge others with such contempt. Does she think her shit doesn't stink or something?

UVA isn't that big. It was a party scene -- all colleges and universities do. Greek life plays a big role, but it's hardly central and people who aren't involved in it do find their own people and interests.

I'd strongly recommend to her that she knock that chip off her shoulder, though. If she goes to UVA or any other college for that matter with such a chip on her shoulder, she's going to be in for a rude awakening. No one likes arrogance like that.[/quote]
