Why would we put up a statue of a proven liar?

He was busted for lying about facilities being unlicensed.  Several of the ones he claimed were unlicensed were in fact licensed.

He was busted for lying saying they were empty when they did have kids.

Sorry but I'm not interested in having statues for liars.

Is there fraud?  Yes.  But there's nowhere near the "18 billion" or whatever the made-up number du jour in proven fraud.

Are there some Somalis involved?  Yes.  But there's also white people and folks having nothing to do with Somalis and nothing to do with Minnesota doing fraud, and it's just a handful of Somalis, the overwhelming majority of Somalis have absolutely nothing to do with the fraud.  Also, it's a federal program, and how does it make sense to blame the state when the Trump admin also had oversight responsibility.

That said, does it justify lying about fraud?  No.  Does it justify lying about Somalis?  No.  That's what makes Nick Shirley a  dishonest POS.[/quote]
