Do kids do this all year for multiple years? My child is taking the intro to journalism class this year (in 10th grade) in hopes of being an editor on the tattler at BCC. I have no idea if it is common for “high achieving” students to take the newspaper class multiple years in 11th and 12th since it crowds out another course options, and how that is perceived by highly selective colleges. Any insight? I want to help my kid know ahead of time what might be the best course of action (one or two years of tattler in the future as they plan things out for themselves) [/quote]
