If I were going to do Edinburgh, I'd try to find a day trip to go out in the country for a day or two by train or by car hire. I don't think I'd bother with Glasgow -- I don't think it would add much -- maybe i'm wrong, but i view it as a grittier version of Edinburgh.[/quote]
