Because they are ill equipped financially and emotionally to take care of all their kids and rely on handouts. Having a large family is the new flex for the wealthy. Having just two kids is very middle class.[/quote]

The wealthy are financially able to care for their kids but do you actually think Elon Musk's kids are being emotionally cared for? Musk himself is from an extremely screwed up family. Even if he hand selected his kids genes to ensure they avoid what I know he views as his own deficiencies (he's naturally bald and unattractive), they are being raised to become a much bigger drain on society than some kid who winds up needing food stamps because his parents are un- or underemployed.[/quote]
