[/quote] I suspect this is counseling office doing hard steering, i.e. unhooked, probably top half to to top 1/3 of HW with lots of info showing them that their best shots at T50 schools are ED to NYU, Tulane, Tufts and of that group NYU would be heavy favorite for LA kids.
