+1 My DS is a freshman at Georgia Tech and I agree with the above. He absolutely loves Atlanta and he's from the Midwest.  He can't wait to get back after break.  [/quote]

My very social kid visited both and actually preferred GaTech.  Campus seemed much more vibrant and better location actually in city, yet still plenty of green space.  Plus ACC sports with stadiums on campus.[/quote]

That shocked us about Gtech as well.  A lot of the campus (west side) is almost like a nature preserve and more beautiful than we expected and you don't even realize you are in the city.  Then you have Georgia Tech Square on the East Side (more city) where the Greek life is and Bobby Dodd stadium and food and shops.  Really fit our DS well.  GT has a nice relationship with Emory and vice versa and my son said often their students come over to Tech Square and during football games.   Really fun. [/quote]
