My kid is at a stronger SEC school and I promise you, I’m not trying to eliminate competition. Kid had no interest in NYU, Northeastern, BU etc.

Hope they are enjoying it.  I can certainly see going to an SEC school like UGA, Florida or even Alabama for STEM over NYU and, of course, social sciences and humanities are subjective, many reasons to choose one school over another for them.  [/quote]
