Holy crud! That must sting. It's not a rational process, I keep reminding myself of that.

Maybe the AO didn't understand the school doesn't have APs?

I suspect he will end up somewhere great eventually but lots of sympathy meanwhile.

It might be worth having a teacher or outside adult read over the app too just in case there's something in there that could be misinterpreted. You may have already done that, and the answer is probably that it's just irrational, but just in case.[/quote]

The school profile should have explained no APs. If you haven't seen it, ask to see it. If it's not there, put that in additional info section. Agree with a parent review of future apps before submitting more. We had a college counselor but there was still a lot of room for parent input. You know your kid, they don't [/quote]
