My mother did this with cooking so I never cooked. Same with cleaning pans and plates. Never good enough. So I ate less just to not have to hear her yelling about the kitchen. She would rewash any plate or pan you had just cleaned.

I barely weighed 100 lbs in late high school.

She would then yell at me for not eating. Honestly, I was too stressed from the yelling and screaming.

I take care of my mother’s affairs now even though she abused me for years…And my sibling has become abusive…
