Laura's accident was something almost everyone knew about because it was so tragic and it was not a big town. She ran a stop sign while driving at night and hit another car and the driver died. But the crazy thing is that she knew boy who died, who was also a teenager, and they'd actually dated previously. Most people I know who knew her thought was a very nice person despite that ordeal. People are pretty religious down there so I think that's sort of how the community got through it, including Laura.[/quote]
