Among my social circle, the women in their 50s who are still married have mostly “made their peace” with the spouse but aren’t BFFs sharing every thought. A lot of transactional yet enduring marriages out there among GenX. So not surprising that women, married or among the large cohort that is UNmarried, would want someone to talk with[/quote]
