I’d get very annoyed because my mom snores like this and I find it very selfish to sleep soundly while other people have to deal with it. It’s a gross habit and I’m not convinced people are helpless.
Ppl who snore that loudly may suffer from sleep apnea. As women age, they tend to become loud snorers because hormonal shift during menopause can cause the muscle in the back of the throat to lose elasticity. This could lead to snoring and worsening sleep apnea. I guess for the greater good, snorers are not allowed to sleep on a long haul flight. Also babies are not allowed to cry on a flight either. 😮💨 As a pp has pointed out, quality sleep and general comfort on a commercial flight in economy is not a feature of modern day air travel in general. Curb your expectations.
