The fact that a therapist wouldn’t understand that he’s putting you in an awkward position is a red flag. I would move on from him. Who cares if he’s a “nice guy” that’s not what you want in a therapist, you want someone will help you make progress. Sounds like he’s only helping you to repeat old learned behaviors. [/quote]
