These people should not be in the camp business. I worked at a camp once that had a non-fatal drowning where a child ended up in the PICU. The drowning was the summer before I worked there. You would think that the camp would have learned from their mistake, and would have been the safest possible the following summer. But instead, perhaps because they were very invested in believing it wasn't their fault, the camp didn't make any changes. The next summer, when I saw the set up for water, I went to administration with concerns, and they dismissed them, and ordered me to continue with the exact same unsafe practices. [/quote]
