Boundaries, well, that's why it's called "work" for most people. But not Club Fed, apparently. Like you had your busy furlough schedule all set and now they want you to come in to your JOB? Oh the boundary violation.
Lol, please. The House has not met since mid-SEPTEMBER and yet we’re supposed to scurry back in on four hours’ notice? That’s unprofessional.
Your notice started Sunday night.
Until I hear from someone in my chain of command, no, it didn’t. Some people on this thread have already heard, e.g., been told to prepare for Thursday. I’ve heard nothing, though I did let my team know that things are in motion and I’ll let them know as soon as I have official information to share. Also: there’s something truly pathetic about kicking federal employees right now.
People like you are the ones giving Feds a bad name.
Amen. There's something truly pathetic about complaining about having to rush back in at short notice when other people, the ones who are the public you serve, gave up a lot and are still frightened and uncertain about their futures because a deal was cut so you DO get to go to work and get all your pay and benefits. Including healthcare. Subsidy intact healthcare.
What exactly did I do to make other people uncertain and frightened?
