99% of SAT tutors are worthless. Play the odds. Craft your child's SAT study plan. For one month, 1 hour a day, 5 days a week, study how to take the SAT. Learn what is asked and in what percentage for the two disciplines. Learn to spot easy answers. Learn now to eliminate answers. This requires no material learning knowledge. Just learn how to take the test. How long each section is, how many minutes per question one should be using. Learn time management. How to jump from a hard question that might prevent you from answering multiple easy ones because you ran out of time. Then progress to each section, breaking each section down to its constituent parts. The SAT. It is considered a standardized test because you know ahead of time what it is going to test. Work your weakness, whether its english conventions or algebra. Sign up for a cheap prep service like Uworld. Do every single problem they have on offer. Do the same for Khan Academy. Print out the old paper tests. On reddit there are depositories of hundreds of past SAT's. Be careful re relevancy as the questions change, especially with the introduction of the DSAT. But still a wealth of information. Find youtubers that teach your style. Watch them solve problems. Use google/chatGPT to make up your own problems. If you grind like this, you will get a 1350 PSAT scorer to 1500 easy. You have multiple attempts plus superscoring. Why then is a 1500 a 98th percentile score if anyone can do it? Because many humans are lazy and shortsighted. Be the kid that will outwork your friend.
