According to the news, 18 people went to the hospital and only 50 on board. OP you are lucky then. "The mobile lounge at around 4:30 p.m. was moving passengers from an arriving flight to Concourse D when it struck the building dock at an angle, according to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Eighteen people were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, while others were evaluated by Airports Authority Fire and Rescue officials, according to a spokesperson. There were roughly 50 people onboard the people-mover at the time, according to dispatch audio from Broadcastify."
Op here. Yea, I’m at the ER at my destination now. They took the people who could walk off of it and into the building. We filled out police reports. They were treating the more seriously injured people, so I knew it would be a while before I was seen. I decided to just fly but it definitely started hurting a lot on the plane. Apparently I have a hematoma and they are giving me pain meds. I’d say everyone had some sort of injury.
Thank you, OP, for sharing - horrible… Was it after an international flight?
