Not worth it once they need a lot of care.[/quote] Yes, in a facility if someone doesn't show up, they call in someone else and/or a supervisor helps out. On your own, that person will by you or a family member taking day off work to be the caregiver and/or call around for one (good luck with that). I've only dealt with getting care for 2-4 weeks for a family member (two times) and it was constant dealing with--someone didnt' show up. And these were the best ranked places in that area. If someone decides not to work that day, you are screwed--they cannot have someone cover two people when you are in different places [/quote]
