I do exercise, but not to lose weight and most of my exercise at this point is focused on putting on muscle because I'm middle aged and I want to be healthy and active as long as possible. I do think is wild how many of you apparently have your BMIs memorized. Why? I thought BMI was a somewhat debunked metric anyway because for instance it treats weight from fat and muscle identically, and fails to account for certain body types. I thought we'd shifted to better metrics for measuring health (like looking at cardiovascular endurance and strength) and were fixating less on weight which can vary so much by person depending on how you are built.[/quote]
