Sure, I’m probably not your people, just as you probably aren’t mine.  For me it was about the quality of life and upbringing I wanted to give my kids. It also includes the amount of individual attention and emotional support I can give them individually.  So the limit was always 2.  I was one of 3 and I feel emotionally neglected even though my needs were met. I didn’t want that for my kids.  In addition to more attention limiting to 2 means better vacations and private school.

Very few families handle 3 kids well.  I can be done, but most adults I know who can from more than 2 siblings have a little trauma from their childhood.  I didn’t want that for my kids.

So yeah, we are definitely different.  I thought through all this and you think you’re perfect and can handle a bazillion kids because of course they will be perfect.[/quote]
