Find out where he works.
It's legal, isn't it? I am for medicinal uses of marijuana, but making it legal for everyone will just show the world that actually, smoking weed IS bad for your health, and shouldn't be allowed. We're currently in a huge medical experiment. Try to be part of the control group!
We’re going to see a huge uptick in mental illnesses triggered by cannabis use, especially in young people. I have a 24 year old niece who developed schizophrenia, triggered by excessive use in her teens. It’s really sad.
Cannabis-induced psychosis is becoming more and more common. High-THC strains and easy access to them, especially in edibles and vapes, means we're not even started on the uptick of mental health issues. I'm pro-legalization and I support medicinal cannabis. I just wish there was WAY more information provided to people who choose to use. There's this mentality that "it's just weed" or that somehow it's not addictive, and it's dead wrong. Unfortunately, because most cannabis users don't bottom out the way alcoholics or heroin users might, people don't realize they have a problem until they REALLY have a problem. The mental impact of long-term cannabis use can be severe, and recovering takes a long time (much longer than recovery from alcohol or opiates, IME). Messing with your neurotransmitters isn't a great idea.
