Guns are NOT illegal in France. I lived in a small town called Losse near Bordeaux for two years and the owners of the farm where I worked (ferrier/trainer) had more guns than they had teeth. We would shoot for hours on Sunday afternoons. I grew up in northern Virginia and these people had more guns than anyone I knew growing up. Even machineguns from WWII. [/quote]

French PP here. I did not say that. Selling guns on a website like Shein is ILLEGAL. My family hunts, on horse back and on foot. Please know the law where you live, PP. Otherwise you can get into trouble.[/quote]

Yes.  Agree with you!

Too many stupid Americans believe the myth that all guns are banned in the EU.  This is not true!  Many French people choose to own a firearms.  It is quite common.  It is more common in the countryside.  But of course, it must be registered and you first have to get the training.

Germany has the even higher rate of owning the firearms.  They regulate it strictly of course. [/quote]
