The rosters for top clubs / top teams are pretty much set. However, some clubs are trying to fill their rosters even at lower age groups. There are plenty of reasons why this can happen, especially due to players who just started playing club. Some families accept an offer, then they realize that the cost is much higher than just club fees, so they decide to pull out. Some have some conflict with either practice time or tournament schedule. A few years back our club was asking around whether we know players who would like to play on a team long after the roster was supposed to be complete. Just because you didn't hear anything like this, it doesn't mean that the information is misleading. RVA parents in particular might have had a sticker shock with their new pricing. [/quote]
