But why? I have a child who wants to join the Law Academy at Northwood. When my oldest attended Northwood, the arts program wasn’t that prominent. You are out of the loop. Northwood theater has become a highly regarded program since Mr. Harwood took over. Sadly, Einstein’s program is on the decline after Mr. Smealie retired. Northwood did unedited Rent and Antigone (as in Sophocles Greek tragedy) last year and they were fantastic. They did that without an auditorium which is even more impressive.

Northwood parents are absolutely fighting for that theater program.[/quote]

Seriously. How can you even begin to say Einstein's theater program is "on the decline" after Mr. Smealie's retirement, when they haven't yet performed a single show under the new director?

I mean, yeah, props to Northwood for making some theater magic in a crappy situation, but repeatedly bashing other programs is weird. Somebody has a real burr under their saddle.[/quote]
