Unless you can plan your trip so you can easily cancel and get refunds if needed.[/quote] That is true, but if they are beginners, they will at least have artificial snow on their groomers everywhere in Utah. Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, or Brighton are more likely to have more terrain open, and if the rest of your group are good skiers, those mountains disperse the crowds better than the Park City/DV resorts.
