You know your property values are higher not because your schools are so great but because MCPS sucks at educating Black, EML and low income students. As long as their test scores are terrible you can get more money for your house zoned for a school that has so few from these groups. DCC families have smaller lot sizes so that plays a huge factor in property taxes. You can fit 2-4 houses in the DCC as in other areas. Also, many DCC homes cost as much or more now. Real issue is they don't want competition. [/quote]
