I’m one of the posters that mentioned kids skipping the pep rally and going to other schools Friday afternoons. The pep rally was on the football field. Not only do these kids sneak out of their school, but they enter other schools just by knocking on a door or texting a friend to meet them at a door.[/quote]

Well known for years that students visit other schools during the day. The Council made Ride On buses free for kids. Easy access. [/quote]

My kids use the free rideon buses to go to the library or meet friends at restaurants or even go to school.  How lame is it to ditch school and just go to another school.  If you are ditching school, at least do something fun!  Why on earth would these kids want to go to a different schools pep rally?  Most kids o know hate pep rallies generally so it’s not like it’s some big draw.  [/quote]
