I’m a pretty thirsty person, but I generally don’t bother to carry a water bottle with me. However, I remember visiting Japan before carrying a water bottle was a thing, and being so thirsty. It was summer time and very hot. Every restaurant would give me this tiny cup of water with my meal. It was so difficult to get a refill. I wish I’d had a water bottle. Anyway, seems like a weird thing to be judgy about.
Yeah we bought a ton of disposable water bottles in Japan, which I hated. Then again, if I'd been carting around a reusable I'm not sure where I would have filled up. But I'm not going to be ridiculously thirsty or dehydrate myself just because I won't buy plastic water bottles.
