If, like so many responses here indicate, high performance is usually a result of parents essentially "homeschooling" their kids after school hours, then yes, these parents should receive all the credit. If high scores of specific schools happen to be direct outcome of excessive parental involvement then the schools themselves are overhyped in my view. [/quote]
