I do not care who was responsible for coming up with the stupid teaching methods of the past and I don't think we need to assign blame. At this point we just need to move forward with phonics. It's not a Republican or a Democratic thing. It's about making sure our society as a whole continues to prosper. Reading is fundamental. [/quote]
