otherwise healthy 40 year old woman who has discovered my gallbladder is completely full of stones. no obvious symptoms related to this, but would it be proactive to have it removed?
Troll alert? How exactly does a healthy person with no symptoms suddenly discover her gallbladder is completely full of stones?
Not prior poster, but I was having weird symptoms and my internist decided with no other info that my gallbladder was the problem. I had an mri/whatever with dye and they documented my gallbladder wasn't functioning. I had no classic symptoms. I had my gallbladder removed and my other weird symptoms remained. The problem was my appendix which ruptured soon after. It is possible for a healthy person with no symptoms to have a non functioning gallbladder.
