Stephen Miller announced today that the federal government is offering $50k signing bonuses for entry level "Homeland Defender" positions that require no education and no experience. The job announcement indicates that these positions are remote so apparently are given an exception to the RTO rules across the rest of the federal government. They are also using Direct Hire Authority in order to just hire anyone who applies that fits their definition of a "patriot."

It says one of the duties is in-person interviews.  Go read the job description--not just the front page.

Nope its remote position but requires a 5 week training 
"Selected candidates are required to attend and successfully complete the USCIS Immigration Service Officer Basic (ISO BASIC) Training Program located with the USCIS Academy Training Center in Charleston, SC. The ISO BASIC Training Program is approximately 5 weeks of academic instruction on the Immigration and Nationality Act, Code of Federal Regulations, and other immigration-related topics. Failure to meet the minimum exam average by the end of the course is grounds for removal from the position."

Also interpreting and writing briefs is not a G7 position. WTF[/quote]
