The issue is they would not have enough staff to open then because the vast majority of people in the US do celebrate x-mas. I still see no reason to have so many holiday. If students need to take off for religious reasons don't penalize them, isn't this the point of the O days? but there is no reason to extend the school year by a full 8 days more than other counties for so many added holidays. To top it off when they added all these holidays they also added back in Veterans day which is just insane. Something has to give. [/quote]
