Look my partner and I both donate thousands of dollars per year (and we are not wealthy) to a variety of causes, including helping homeless and distressed individuals right here in FFX county. We are NOT saying “don’t help.” But we are saying: let the experienced, organized, groups render aid to those truly in need, based on their experience and training. Handing out cash on the street puts you (and possibly your children) in danger and the cash usually ends up with drug dealers or liquor stores; it ultimately hurts more than it helps.
