They went all over, but something that I recently became aware of is that many went to Mexico. If you visit San Miguel de Allende there is a beautiful art museum there filled with incredible art from these Spanish people. Spain did not recover for many decades. It too was also once a world power (along with England) . . . during the age of discovery. But it fell pretty far. It can happen to us. [/quote]
