I work in a school in FCPS and we can’t ask the vaccine status esp of those who are not legal, so it’s a problem here too. I recently had a child with the mumps.
It's not your job to ask and single children out. However, the school should not be allowing anyone who is not vaccinated to attend.
There is literally no difference between Florida and FCPS then.
Oh shut up you troll. FCPS children who are unvaccinated have religious exemptions. They are 99% white Christian nuts. You are a troll and a liar. Students who are illegal must follow same rules as all other students when they register. They get vaccinated, whether it is at a free clinic or somewhere else.
The point is VA requires it, but there are many ways around it. I teach at a school with the lowest socioeconomic status in the county, we can’t ask vaccine status (so don’t blame the white Christians for that) but then you also have the exemption population which also isn’t vaccinated. If we mandate it but can’t ask or enforce it, and also we give people a way to become exempt, it isn’t much different than not mandating it.
