[/quote] I'm the PP who used to have laundry in the mudroom, which adjoined the garage. We also had a dog and fed the dog in there. I did not like having the clean laundry and ironing in a mudroom space with the typical dirt and hair that space gets (yes we cleaned) or the fact the dryer top became a flat surface for dog gear or whatever items came in from the garage. If you can, try to separate them within the mudroom so that your laundry isn't an all purpose landing area. [/quote]
